From 26 February to 1 March 2018, one of the most important technological events was held at the Barcelona Fira Gran Vía: the Mobile World Congress. In previous posts, we have spoken about our experiences at the Congress and some of our thoughts on the technologies and innovations that were exhibited.
In this post on the MWC, we want go into more detail about our experience, both at our own stand at the Pabellón de España and across the length and breadth of the fair, with its more than 2000 exhibitors and more than 100,000 visitors. Here is a brief summary:
Part of Serimag’s team also explained their Artificial Intelligence proposals and solutions. Here, Daniel Garrido, technical and project director, spoke to us about the implementation of Artificial Intelligence in today’s business world. “Artificial Intelligence is moving from being an opportunity to a necessity”, he told us.
Albert Escoda, sales director, also explained to us a little bit more about the business project that Serimag proposes to companies: an innovative business model based on payment per use and without any initial investment by the customer to help get as close to them as possible.
Finally, David Morales, Marketing Director, reflected on how companies should address this Digital Transformation process up to what is called Industry 4.0. He highlighted the importance of instilling a digital mentality at all levels of the company, and promoting that change should take place from the business.
This was thus far our participation in the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona. The conclusions are tremendously positive and we left with the assurance of being immersed in one of the great technological trends of the year, with a real and attractive proposal for companies to take the leap to Artificial Intelligence.
