The year 2017 that we have just left behind was a great year for us. Serimag consolidated its solutions in the market, obtaining great results. We now look to 2018 with great expectations because we firmly believe that there is considerable document processing in companies that does not provide any value and can be automated.
This is why our first commitment will be to attend the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona from 26 February to 1 March, 2018. The MWC has been consolidating itself for many years as one of the most important technological fairs in the world. In 2017 it attracted more than 100,000 visitors from 198 countries and about 3,500 media outlets. The major technological companies in the world will be present introducing their new features, as will those who are taking advantage of the event as a stage to make themselves known for the first time.
Serimag will be part of the Spanish Pavilion made up of national companies selected by the Secretary of State for the Information Society and the Digital Agenda, via the Red.es public agency. We are proud to represent the growing capacity in technological innovation in our country, together with the other 55 companies in the pavilion. Technology that we develop here but that has no limits when it comes to establishing ourselves beyond our borders.

As predicted in recent times, Artificial Intelligence promises to be one of the most disruptive technologies in the market. It will change the rules of the game in many processes. We are aware of this at Serimag and we want to announce it to the world during the MWC with our 100% proprietary technology based on Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing.
TAAD is our solution for Intelligent Document Recognition (IDR). Through this, companies with large amounts of documentation can benefit from its document processing to perform tasks that do not provide any value to companies. It is capable of analysing millions of documents for tasks involving data classification, segmentation, extraction and verification, as well as location, detection of signatures and assisted captures.
Furthermore, with the aim of providing a mobility solution we have integrated all our technology so it can be used via mobile. The result is SMAAT, which thanks to Artificial Intelligence techniques allows you to capture documents through the camera. The application is the only one that ensures the type of document captured and we are strongly committed to the image quality. In addition to being able to download through Google Play, companies can access the SDK to integrate it into their corporate applications.

The cooperation agreements we have with the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) and the Computer Vision Center (CVC) ensure we are the first to implement the most cutting-edge innovations in the industry.
